Things to do in Riga

Planning for Riga seems to be a bit strenuous, budget travel + handful days!

My backpack would certainly check the list here-

With wide range of open air restaurants

 

–Central Market

Taste some local delicacies here, particularly the ones I listed on my previous post.

 

2. Museums

 

-Ethnographic open air museum

 

An insight into traditional Latvian life with a relaxed and surreal serenity.

 

 

 

-Art Nouveau Museum

Unparalleled architecture in the internationally famous art nouveau capital of world is the next thing to do.

 

 

 

 

3.Landmarks

 

 

Freedom Monument – This is the national symbols of Latvia. It has many famous squares and halls in its vicinity.

 

 

 

 

Bastejkalns – located between Basteja Bulvaris and Raina Bulvaris, this small yet picturesque park features the romantic Bridge of Love.

 

 

 

Skyline Bar is a cocktail lounge inside Radisson Blu Hotel Latvija to featuring  a breathtaking view of the city.

 

 

4. Nightlife

 

Stroll from one to another bar, enjoy the great music and Latvian beer. The old town is crowded with dozens of night clubs and bars particularly  the Kalku Street and the Klanciema Street Quarter.
